 Welcome Message

Dear colleagues,

This is the second issue of The Bridge, Al-Amal Pharmacy newsletter.

The Bridge is published Through Hamad Medical Corporation intranet and internet.

Our pharmacy newsletter is issued from Al-Amal Hospital Pharmacy, but this doesn’t mean that all the cases published in The Bridge are restricted to Al-Amal Hospital.

I would like to thank all who have sent valuable feedbacks, ideas and suggestions regarding the first issue.

We are welcoming your participation in The Bridge and we would like to share with you any medication errors cases that can benefit The Bridge readers.

You will read in this issue how a patient was frustrated when the pharmacist answered the patient’s question regarding the usage of her medication.

In the medication errors corner you will read a very interesting case in regard to look alike and sound alike medications.

Do not forget to read the safe prescribing tip for this month.

I hope that you will enjoy reading this issue.

Waiting for health provider pioneers kind feedback.

Best regards,
