Al Khor Hospital
Al Khor Hospital provides high quality healthcare services primarily to the northern communities in Qatar. The 149-bed facility offers general medicine, general surgery, emergency medicine, pediatrics, and obstetrics and gynecology services.
An Antenatal and Postnatal Exercise Center has been established, which is unique to HMC, as well as a Breastfeeding Resource Center – an important step in Al Khor Hospital’s endeavor to attain recognition by the World Health Organization as a baby-friendly hospital.
The Surgical Training Unit at Al Khor Hospital highlights the progress HMC has achieved in providing continuing medical education and training. The facility offers surgeons a venue to train in various surgical techniques using high-end simulation equipment, and has an electronic library offering access to over 1,000 online reference books.
