Basic Life Support & First Aid Course
An eight-hour course that teaches how to respond to someone suffering a cardiac
arrest.
First Responder Course
This two-week course is aimed at people who respond to
emergencies as part of their work duties, but whose primary duty is not
medical. All skills needed to deal with medical aid calls are taught, in
addition to limited anatomy and physiology. At the end of the course, students
are able to assist EMT’s and paramedics or deal with an emergency on a limited
scale by themselves.
