ADAMS Course
Hospital Advanced Disaster Administration and Management Support
Course.
This two day course covers all aspects of disaster management inside the
hospital starting from the scene of the accident. The aim of this course is to
train the medical and the par medical staff on the changes needed to be done in
case of disaster affect the hospital environment. The information in this
course are based on disaster management principle drown from internationally
recognize disaster organization like the world health organization (WHO) Major
Incident Medical Management and Support (MIMMS) and other international
academic and research centres.
The contains of this course incorporate all aspects of disaster management
principles, preparedness, planning and prevention.
It also includes the basic of commanding the scene of major medical incident.
The theoretical part is complemented by tabletop exercises and life out doors
practical simulated scenes all of which consolidate the candidate knowledge of
proper communication and management skills.
A medical background is preferred for the candidates but not compulsory.
