NRP Program ( Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
NRP (Provider course)
The Neonatal Resuscitation Program equips health care personnel whose immediate
responsibility is for the care of a newborn with the skills and confidence to
help all babies in need of assistance at the deliver setting in particular or
in the neonatal period as a whole.
The program follows standards set by the American Academy of Pediatrics and the
American Heart Association and is based on current medical evidence which has
evolved over the last 4 decades.
In Qatar the program was established march 2005 by the joint efforts of Hamad
International Training Center and the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova
Scotia (Canada).
