2nd OB/GYN CONFERENCE APRIL 11-13, 2001

The 2nd International Conference for Ob/Gyn will be organized by HMC on April 11-13, 2001. Distinguished international physicians and HMC doctors will be invited to take part and share their expertise with Qatar doctors. The conference is part of the HMC policy to keep abreast with international developments in the specialty and to update the skills of doctors at HMC and the Ministry of Public Health

The conference will discuss all topics relating to obstetrics and gynecology such as high-risk pregnancy, fetal and maternal medicine, cancers (oncology) and infertility. The conference will have two workshops, one on Ultrasonography and the other on Laparoscopy.

Dr. Najat Ali Mohsen, consultant in Ob/Gyn, will chair the organizing committee. (Al Saha Magazine)

CALL FOR ABSTRACTS

The organizing committee of the 2nd International Conference on Obstetrics and Gynecology in Qatar has called for abstracts of scientific papers to be presented during the conference.

Deadline for submission of abstracts is February 21, 2001. Abstracts may be submitted by e-mail to: obgyn@hmc.org.qa All e-mail submissions should indicate in the subjectthe words "Abstract for submission."

Abstracts should be in English and should fit the Abstract Submission Form using Courier or Times Roman (10 pts.) font. The original form may be photo copied for use in multiple abstracts.
