GASTROENTEROLOGY The Gastroenterology Section provides diagnostic and therapeutic services to patients with gastrointestinal disorders. The Endoscopy Unit has been moved to a new site in the second floor of Hamad General Hospital where over 20 endoscopic procedures are done every day. New procedures have been introduced such as colonoscopy and ERCP. Endoscopic therapeutic procedures are now carried out.
