INFECTIOUS DISEASES

The section has expanded and, in addition to providing an inpatient and outpatient service, manages a TB unit with complete inpatient and outpatient service. The section works closely with the Infection Control Committee to help in prevention and control of infection in the hospital.

The Tuberculosis Program closely monitors and supervises TB cases in the country in close coordination with the Ministry of Public Health. The Unit has proposed stringent measures to curb the entry and spread of TB in Doha.
