RHEUMATOLOGY

A Rheumatology Outpatient Clinic receives referred patients with musculoskeletal and rheumatology diseases. The service has expanded with daily rheumatology clinics to cope with the increasing load. Specialized rheumatology clinics, such as an Osteoporosis Clinic, have been established. The number of patients have quadrupled from 4,109 in 1988 to 16,191 in 1997.
