SERVICES:

 1.        It has been decided to connect the A/E Dept. with other hospital Depts. Particularly with Laboratory through Computer Net Work which will be provided to urgent and non-urgent side.

 2.        Expansion of the facility of Emergency centers outside Doha city to cover Dokhan, Shahaniahl, and Makainis.

EDUCATION:

 *       There is new educational program for Medical and Nursing Staff, all physicians and nurses in emergency department should have BTLS, ACLS and ATLS Certificate,. List of programs attached.

JOURNALS:

         Meddle East Journal of Emergency Medicine (MEJEM) has its first edition published in jan 2001 .
