INFORMATION
The aim of Heart Views is to provide clinical
information and understanding of the scientific
foundations of cardiovascular medicine to
physicians. It summarizes topics published
in international journals covering all aspects
of cardiovascular medicine. The material
is presented informally, briefly, and simply
in an easy to read format. Topics focus
on basic principles of cardiovascular medicine
as applied to clinical problem solving.
The scope of cardiovascular medicine is
vast; thus each issue will focus on a few
areas. The sections on art and history of
medicine and fillers provide fresh perspective
on the practice of modern medicine as well
as insights on how medical theory and practice
evolved through time.
Authorship in Heart Views is open to all clinicians and research scientists with an interest in the prevention, diagnosis, or treatment of cardiovascular disease. The journal invites the submission of subject reviews, original investigative reports, case reports, guest editorials, letters to the editor, interesting cardiovascular images, and articles on the history of medicine. All manuscripts are peer reviewed. Medical wisdom/humor/proverbs are welcome.
Manuscripts should comply with "Uniform Requirements for Manuscripts Submitted to Biomedical Journals", published by the International Committee Of Medical Journal Editors in Vancouver, British Columbia (1979), as described in the Annals of Internal Medicine, 1982;96:766_771.
