The Tender Committee Secretariat (TCS) is entrusted by the HMC Management with the procurement and contract of all materials and services through Tenders. Recently, tenders of pharmaceuticals for both HMC and the Ministry of Public Health have been added to the TCS function. There are numerous activities from the time the purchase requests are received, to the announcement of tenders in newspapers, and the preparation of purchase orders. Thus, the role of TCS can be briefly described as that of being a catalyst in the procurement of the right materials and services, from the right source, at the right price, for delivery at the right time. The entire tender process is for the maximum benefit of the Corporation.
