Dear colleagues,
I am honored
to be able to present to you our second
announcement for the forthcoming 3rd Qatar
International Medical Congress (QIMC). We
have had an excellent response following the
first announcement with a large number of
abstracts submitted in hopes of being
presented during the congress. The number of
people who have registered to attend is also
very encouraging.
I am delighted to be able to tell you that
the 3rd QIMC will be held under the
patronage of His Highness, the Heir
Apparent, Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al Thani.
This Congress also promises to be the
largest, and most important, Medical event
in the region.
Qatar is proud to be the host of an event
which not only unites east with west but
will also provide an opportunity for the
dissemination of some of the latest
advances, and thoughts, in current medical
practices from around the world. We are
pleased to be able to host an international
panel of speakers representing a wide
variety of medical and surgical specialties.
The 3rd QIMC will provide a fantastic

around the world to exchange views, make new
